La présence du logo Ocean Wise sur un menu ou emballage permet au consommateur de repérer aisément les choix écoresponsables qui préservent la santé de nos océans pour les générations futures.

First year anniversary!

The team at Restaurant AVOCADO Sushi du Village proudly celebrates its first year anniversary with happy patrons!!

Avocado Sushi du Village is a restaurant located in the heart of the Pointe-Claire village. They serve traditional and fusion sushis and tartars in their bistro, offer take out service and cater for events.

The two owners, Dominique St-Laurent and Sylvie Longtin, are long-time friends that dreamed of opening their own business on the lakeshore in Pointe-Claire. Two years ago, Sylvie Longtin, then a sushi chef at Willows, leaves Hudson and together, they set out to create their own restaurant. With its cozy atmosphere and its delicious and innovative cuisine, Avocado rapidly charmed the local population. Many locals have made this friendly little bistro their local eat, enjoying the stunning creations of their sushi chefs. Their Martini and Sushi event on Thursday nights have become extremely popular and reservations are now required if you want to secure a table and enjoy the festive atmosphere!

“I am extremely thankful for the quality of staff that we have” commented the owners. ‘ It would have been impossible for this project to be successful without the customer service and quality of food that is offered...and that is 100% the staff. Sylvie’s sushi is simply...magical, but add to that the knowledge and service that Charlie, Cathy, Chantal, Danielle Sandra and Tess bring to the table. On October 5th, Avocado held an event to celebrate their one year anniversary with its customer. The chefs delighted their guests with an array of new dishes created especially for the occasion. The guests were invited to name the dishes so expect many creative ideas to be included in the menu on your next visit!

“We were so pleased to see how the people responded to our ideas. We feel a real part of this community here and it is great to see our food and service to be appreciated! For our special night, the whole neighborhood landed a hand to put it together and came to celebrate our success with us!”
